In Volkswagen’s app for your mobile online services from Car-Net and We Connect, connectivity meets intuitive design. Add your vehicle to your Volkswagen ID account and use the We Connect app as a connection to your vehicle.* We Connect customers can switch to the Volkswagen app now.
The Volkswagen We Connect app benefits for you at a glance:
• Quick, intuitive access to comprehensive vehicle information and your vehicle status.
• Control practical vehicle functions by using your smartphone as a remote control. For instance, you can easily operate your optional auxiliary heater using the We Connect app. You can even lock and unlock your doors** and luggage compartment remotely.
• Find your Volkswagen faster – your latest parking position is just a few taps away.
• Send your next destinations to the navigation system effortlessly.
• Even more helpful functions for electric vehicles. Check the charge level of your battery, for instance, or start and stop the charging process.
Thanks to the simple activation process, it’s quick and easy to connect your vehicle with your smartphone.

To use mobile online services, you need a Volkswagen ID
user account and must log in with your username and password in the Volkswagen app. A separate contract for the use of mobile online services must also be concluded online with Volkswagen AG. More information is available at www.connect.volkswagen.com and your Volkswagen dealership.
**Usage requires an identity check in the form of Volkswagen Ident verification.
With Wear OS, selected functions such as the “Parking Timer” can be used with your Android smartwatch.

How to install We Connect on your Android device:

- Once the We Connect is shown in the Google Play listing of your Android device, you can start its download and installation. Tap on the Install button located below the search bar and to the right of the app icon.
- A pop-up window with the permissions required by We Connect will be shown. Click on Accept to continue the process.
- We Connect will be downloaded onto your device, displaying a progress. Once the download completes, the installation will start and you'll get a notification after the installation is finished.
